Within the context of the E-WEEK, the IEEE Morocco Section is organizing the Oriented Web Services Competition which is yet another opportunity for student in all Morocco Universities to interact and learn from one another.
The oriented web services should relay on open source. Students may select any topic that relate to local environmental issues; however, the judges are looking for depth rather than breadth.

General Rules of the CompetitionThe goal of a Web service is to offer a b2b or a b2c application accessible within the internet. The application should cover a special need for business or for clients. The installation, customization, maintenance and its use will be taken into account for judging the best one. Further, the Web site should be portable, as Web browsers and computers are not created equal, and load in a reasonable about of time, as network bandwidth is also not equal. Thus, the criteria of content, presentation, navigability, originality, portability, and load time are the judging categories.    

The IEEE MS will host the applications on the IEEE MS website and give access to competitors to a disk space and database so they can upload their application online. The hosting plan include an apache web server, php 5.2.5, perl 5, and mysql 5.0.45,  …
