IEEE MS Print E-mail
As the chairman of the IEEE Morocco Section, I am really very pleased and honored to address the IEEE members in Morocco to give a brief overview on the missions and activities undertaken or intended for this section. The section's Executive Committee (ExCom) adopted a very interesting technical roadmap activities to be launched or programmed over all the country's main cities and towns. Some of the activities we are realizing:
  • Information and Communication Technologies seminars, workshops and conferences.

  • IEEE Student Branches Network involving all the engineering and science schools an Faculties in all the universities in Morocco.

  • IEEE Morocco Section Local Offices Network

The section will not only be involved in technical activities that will interest academia (e.g  Universities). The IEEE activities can be of a great importance and added value to the Businesses and industries established in Morocco. This can be done through different programs and activities offered by the IEEE such as lifelong learnin programs, conferences and workshops. The IEEE can also be of significant benefits to the Moroccan engineering and science schools and universities through the education and accreditation programs it offers.

Last but not least, the networking opportunities offered by the IEEE at the global scale can play a very important role in improving our academia, industry and governmen performances. So, I invite all of you to take part in these activities and by so to contribute to the development of our universities, industries, businesses, government and of our country as whole.

Mohamed Essaaidi
