IEEE Rabat Marathon Print E-mail

IEEE Morocco Section members taking the challenge of the Rabat Half Marathon

The IEEE community in Morocco is also about staying fit and keeping a challenging spirit. We didn’t find a better opportunity for putting ourselves in this mode than taking part to the 21 km Half Marathon that was held in Rabat on the 18th of May 2010. Members from Fez, Tangier, Rabat and Mohammadia took part in this contest.

The team spirit was high enough to help each member go beyond its limits. They all achieved remarkable performances with the best time of 1h45. The day before the event, a meeting was held in Rabat between members and the excom to advance with the organization of Eweek’10 and to reinforce procedures to  streamline the communication processes between the  various IEEE entities in Morocco (Gold, Chapters and Student branches). We will continue to perform professionally as  good as our marathon champion.
